Esther Jean McDonnell Westbrook, age 90, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Westfield Rehabilitation and Health Center.

Mrs. Westbrook was born in Orange County, New York on February 22, 1927 to the late Francis McDonnell and Esther Goodrich McDonnell.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Westbrook and by several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, John Westbrook and wife, Sue of Florida, Gary Westbrook and wife, Dee of California; a daughter, Linda Sherron of Sanford; six grandchildren, Shane, Jessica, Diane, Jenna, Garrett, and Grant; 6 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Caden, Brody, Haileigh, Michael, and Lawson.  She is also survived by a very special family friend, Teresa Mingus

The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall at Ephesus Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM with Dr. David Boroughs and Mr. Shane Sherron officiating.
