Donald William Bullard, age 89, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Central Carolina Hospital.

Donald was born on December 24, 1927 in Lee County, NC to the late John William and Cora Pierce Bullard. 

Donald William Bullard was an US Army Veteran of the Korean War and member of the American Legion.   He was a lifelong farmer, volunteer firefighter, Tramway little league baseball coach, avid NASCAR fan and CEO of Scott’s Outback Driving Range.

Donald is survived by his wife of 66 years Geneva Thomas Bullard; daughter JJ Dickens and husband Randy Deas Dickens; daughter Kim Bullard and life partner Josh Shook; son Donald Scott Bullard and wife Michele Lynn Bullard, grandson Dylan Lee Bullard and granddaughter Madison Lynn Bullard.

A funeral graveside service will be held at Grace Chapel Church Cemetery on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Joel Murr and Rev. Robbie Yow.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tramway Fire Department, 5900 McDaniel Drive Sanford, NC 27332 and/or Grace Chapel Church, 2605 Old Jefferson Davis Highway, Sanford, NC 27332.
