Mr. Danny Ray Murphy, age 55, of Sanford, N.C., died Sunday, January 31, 2016, at his home. 

Mr. Murphy was born on March 9, 1960, in Lee County, N.C.to Shelby Marsh Murphy and to the late John Cecil Murphy.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Murphy.

In addition to his mother Shelby Marsh Turner, he is survived by his wife, Annette Black Murphy; a son, Danny Ray Stewart of Sanford; a daughter, Vanessa Stewart of Sanford; two brothers, Tim Murphy of Sanford and Glen Turner, Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama; two sisters, Teresa Cordevan of Sanford and Rhonda Murphy of Cameron, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Felicity and Brelynn.

Family will have visitation at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Thursday February 4, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
