Clyde Lester Adams, age 87, of Sanford, NC passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016, at his residence. 

Mr. Adams was born in Granville County, on Jan. 22, 1929, to the late Samuel Parker Adams and Leona Chappell Adams.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Justine Prokopchuk Adams; sisters, Doris Cox Fischer and Annie Mae Matthews; brothers Thomas Clifton Adams, Sr, Samuel Parker Adams, Jr and Leonard Adams.  He worked as a General’s Advisor for the Civil Service for thirty years. 

He is survived by his son, Dennis Adams (Etta) of Cameron; daughter, Donna Faye Adams of Cary; a brother, James Harold Adams (Hazel) of Houston, TX; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home from 6-8PM.  A graveside service will be held Monday, Oct. 17th, 2:00 PM, at Lee Memory Gardens with Chaplain Ken Banks presiding.
