Brenda Annette Morrison Hart, age 67, of Gulf, NC, went to be with the Lord, Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, surrounded by her family at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Mrs. Hart was born in Lee County, on June 24, 1948 to the late Robert Lee Morrison and Sarah Bridges Morrison.  She worked as a caregiver in the Home Health Care field.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sisters, Emma Jean Caviness and Barbara Fields; brothers, Leon and Donnie Morrison; and a grandson Mark William Aschenauer.

Brenda is survived by her husband Charlie Hart of the home; sons, Tommy Hart and wife Lisa of Gulf and Jason Hart and wife Melissa of Gulf; a daughter, Jane Aschenauer and husband Mark of Gulf; a sister, Pearl Canterbury of Bear Creek; a special aunt, Betty Gunter; eight grandchildren, Garrett, Justin, Tori, Colin, Jordan, Emma Grace, Charlee Hart and Ronnie Aschenauer and a furry friend “Bootsie”.

The family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, from 6 to 8PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, 2PM at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Leslie Puryear and Rev. Willard Neal presiding.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Bethany Baptist Cemetery Fund, PO Box 91, Gulf, NC  27256.
