Betty Margaret Hall McGehee, age 79, of Sanford, NC, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at her home. 

Mrs. McGehee was born in Lee County, on March 9, 1938, to the late Sandy Hall and Mary Cameron Hall.  She worked as a seamstress and homemaker.  In addition to her parents he was preceded in death by her husband Owen Byron McGehee; a grandson Nicholas McGehee; brothers John, Weldon and Albert Hall; a sister, Martha Mae Godwin.

She is survived a daughter, Pamela McGehee Fundakowski and husband John of Sanford; two sons, Russell Wayne McGehee and Carol and Randall Byron McGehee and Maria of Sanford; brothers, Alton Hall and Brenda of Cameron and Lester Hall and Margaret of Lemon Springs; sisters, Ruby Hall of Carthage, Liza Cummings of Broadway and Edna Cummings of Sanford; six grandchildren, Levi Fundakowski, Challen Haywood, Maeanna Haywood, Storm McGehee, Tucker McGehee, Denny Haire, Timothy and Gregory Collins; two great-grandchildren, Carrington Fundakowski and Karsyn Fundakowski.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, from 6 to 8PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held Wed., Sept. 6th, 2PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Norris and Rev. Pearl Castleberry officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Life Fellowship Cemetery.
