Betty Ann Martin Cameron, age 62, of Cameron, NC, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

She was born in Hoke County on October 8, 1953 to the late Frear Martin and Kate Stewart Martin.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Larry Gray Martin, Robert Clifton Martin, William Ray “Buck Martin and John Wesley Martin; sister Linda Faye Martin Wilson and son-in-law Timothy Boggs.

Ann is survived by her husband, William Carl “W.C.” Cameron; son, William Carl Cameron, Jr. and wife Susan; daughter, Anna Marie Cameron Boggs all of Cameron.  She had two grandsons, Bryson and Carson Cameron and three granddaughters; Allison Cameron, Elizabeth and Grace Godfrey.  She also loved her “fat baby” great-granddaughter Eliza Jewl and mothers Elizabeth and Rachel Wren and also a very special grandson Dalton Hatfield.  She was employed most of her life as a quality control manager or operator.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2016 from 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and other times at the home of Carl and Susan Cameron at 841 Atkins Road, Cameron, N.C.

Graveside service will be Saturday, May 14th at 1:00 PM at Pineywood Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Whitaker, Jr. officiating.
