Barbara Jean Pilson Dickerson, age 69, of Cameron, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC.

She was born in Guilford County, NC on May 20, 1948 to the late Paul Dave Pilson, Sr. and Mary Copley Pilson.  Barbara worked for many years as Manager of Big Lots. 

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, James Allen Dickerson; her son, Mark D. Helms and wife, Elizabeth of Cameron; three step-daughters, Terri Elaine Munday and husband, Scott of Sanford, Jamie Elizabeth Champion of Sanford, Toni Pendleton and husband, Gary of Ruffin, NC; one brother, Paul Dave Pilson, Jr and wife, Peggy of Little Washington, NC ; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Chaplain Joel Cameron officiating.  Burial will follow in Rocky Fork Christian Church Cemetery.
