Andrew “Andy” Blue Chriscoe Sr., age 80, of the Deep River Community, Sanford, NC, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017.

He was born in Moore County, NC on September 12, 1937 to the late Andrew Lloyd Chriscoe and Loula Florence McNeill Chriscoe.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Johnson Chriscoe; daughter-in-law Marian Coggins Chriscoe and siblings Louise Michael, Lloyd Chriscoe, J.R. Chriscoe, Betty Lou Caddell, Lyna Davis, Opal Blue and Shirley Forest.  Andy began his career delivering milk for The Fairview Dairy.  Later he worked for Long Meadow, Flavo-Rich, Coca Cola and lastly Triangle Vending.  Everywhere he went people recognized him as the “milk man”.  He was a member of Zion Christian Church.

He is survived by sons Andrew “Chris” Blue Chriscoe Jr. of Sanford, Jeff Chriscoe and wife Kelly of Deep River; daughter Susan Chriscoe Denkins and husband Scott of Deep River; brother Roger Chriscoe and wife Ann of Robbins; sisters Nancy Bibey of Carthage, Josephine Roland of Carthage; grandchildren Summer Chriscoe Corbin and husband Adam of Leland, Kristen Chriscoe Carlyle and husband Darrell of Robbins, Zachary Scott Chriscoe and Gracie Anne Chriscoe both of Deep River; and three great-grandchildren Andrew and Parker Corbin and Jaxon Carlyle.  He is also survived by special friends Beth Yow and Carolyn Degraifenreid.

The family will receive friends at Zion Christian Church Fellowship Hall on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and at other times at the family home.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery beside his late wife Barbara.
